Hello quý khách.Bữa nay, tôi xin góp chút kinh nghiệm cá nhân về Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 1-2 Breakdown | Recap & Review . Better Call Saul opened season 6 with two fantastic episodes. In episode 1 things pick up right after the finale of season 5. Lalo puts a plan in motion to fake his death, and Nacho runs away with no one he can trust. Jimmy and Kim start to go after Howard Hamlin to try to force HHM and Davis and Main to settle the Sandpiper case. Gus is stuck after he’s failed assassination attempt and trying to figure out what to do to keep the cartel from discovering what he did.

The premiere episode broke from tradition and didn’t open with a scene featuring Gene Takavic in Omaha. Instead we got a look inside Saul Goodman’s house after the events of Breaking Bad. This was an interesting surprise that brought up a lot of questions about the private life of the character we had only seen working for Walter White.

In episode 2 things get worse for Nacho as the cartel learns his location. Jim and Kimmy use the Kettlemans to spread a rumor about Howard. Kim is pushing things and taking the lead in their planning. This is a different side of the character, and it may lead to a fall.

In the final 13 episodes, we’ll find out why Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) isn’t in Jimmy’s life in Breaking Bad. We’ll learn the fates of Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) and Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton).

  1. The phrase The Days of Wine and Roses comes from a poem from the late 1800's. The actual phrase, which fits the narrative perfectly of repo workers collecting the valuables from Saul's over- the -top castle we see in the opening of S6 E1, is "They are not long, the days of wine and roses. Out of a misty dream, our path emerges for a while, then closes. Within a dream.". Translation: The good times never last forever. They will come to an end sometime. Perfect description of the 1962 movie with the name, and perfect for what we are about to witness with Jimmy and Kim.

  2. That scene at the restaurant is so genius…while thinking about the best way to harm Howard, the waitress offers COKE which will be an important part of the plan

  3. i dont understand the part about the fire in the roof being planned. did lalo burn the roof after the season5finale attack? what does this have to do with him burning his body double, why burn the roof?

  4. Guys I can't figure out why it was needed to leak the motel adress. It was obvious that if Salamanca's people find Nacho they wouldn't kill him immediately, they would torture him and know that he's working for Gus. So why Gus's people did it? Maybe by telling Nacho to shoot everybody who will knock the door they hoped Salamancas gonna kill Nacho?

  5. Just FYI, Jimmy actually introduces himself as Saul Goodman at the country club, which is a Jewish last name, and therefore his accusations, on the surface, make sense for him to claim in that moment.

  6. I just realised that when Nacho has the opportunity to take the life of that spy, the spy says ‘you can’t pull the trigger’. I think this is a reference back to when Nacho meets up with Mike and says ‘who’s the guy that won’t pull the trigger? You.’ I think it’s showing that Nacho recognised this trait in Mike because he’s much the same. A compassionate character living the criminal life.

  7. My gosh, Kim is becoming such a badass. She is definitely the brains behind Jimmy/Saul, whilst he uses awkward unconvention to outwit, she uses pure processing power, sharpness and can make people crumble mentally beneath her superiority.
Not sure where things are going exactly, but Kim will likely end at the top of the pyramid.
As for Nacho, I suspect that he will kill Lalo (or possibly Kim will).

  8. The intro isn't stuff being ceased, its part of the vacuum cleaner service. they're gathering his stuff, but I'm unsure what they're doing with all of it. When saul orders the service they weren't looking for him as a suspect yet so he had time to get his house in order. Normally you have forensics and investigators looking for evidence and taking pictures of everything. The people cleaning don't look like any sort of law enforcement.

  9. The guy is not lalos neighbor, he is his asset because the region is owned by the salamancas so automatically the people are owned by them. Also in the scene he sits under the cross, the area where he sits was darker then the rest of the scene making it occur like the salamancas are kind of feared Godfather for those people.

  10. The scene with Mike and Gus in the trailer had another part. Mike said that it's not going to end like they think because he's got a sniper sitting outside the trailer who is going to kill Tyrus and Gus if Mike doesn't come out. Mike closing the door was the signal to kill if Mike didn't come out.

edit: I thought that was pretty important, because it showed that Mike isn't owned by anyone and will do what he thinks is best.

  11. good lord, I completely missed the body double at the beginning. It's so clever and subtle, perhaps a little too subtle since I don't seem to be thr only one who missed it!!

  12. The appalling standard at Netflix and Amazon means this fairly ordinary directing seems like prime Hitchcock or Kuraswawa to the sheep. It's actually on the mondane and clichéd end of good directing. It's good but not great. It's only great in comparison to the utter drivel served up on Netflix etc.

  13. Thank you, Vince Gilligan, for using "The Days of Wine and Roses" and that specific, beautiful version. I have listened to it again and again and find it so soothing.
Would love to return to this time of actual music, instead of WAP songs and videos, monotone foul talking and calling that music. When music was made by talented musicians.

  14. I don’t know if I am tripping…BUT I also think the drug saul planted was real. I’m not sure but I feel like that’ll come back too. Because when kim says something like “I hope they don’t realize it’s just baby powder” and Saul says “oh they won’t” and laughs. She says “are you sure” and he says yes…

I think that could be the start of serious trouble

  15. I saw last night’s episode. Weak, very weak.
Too much focus on Jimmy and Kim. Why they are trying to frame that other lawyer makes no sense. No one deserves that crap.
The focus should be on the Salamancas and Gus! I hope the next episode is better. This one sucked.

  16. I literally couldn't tell where episode 1 ended and 2 began when I saw this on TV cos they saved the credits for episode 2 so when you said when the switch was I was shocked lmao

  17. Best recap ever. I was looking all over and so many morons missed everything, were doing that fast "YouTube voice", where I had to slow their videos down. This is excellent. I am subbed.

  18. I couldn't disagree more about Kim not being there. There is a very un-Saul non-gold toilet afterall- in a hidey hole behind the closet. And there are his and hers sinks, and the second sink has a toothbrush by it- which is a think we've seen with them before. And as you point out, there's the Zefiro Anejo top. Kim definitely seems to have been hiding with Saul at least part time. Probably only part time, since we also see what looks like a code book and we have reason to suspect that they pre-arrange calls at payphones.

  19. I guess I'm the only one, I'm not really digging season 6. The pace is very…. different. I don't know.
I also heard there is going to be a cameo of Walk and Jesse. I really hope it's them in later seasons. Aaron Paul doesn't look anything like the younger Jesse anymore.

  20. Really hope Kim and Saul get iced. Problem with Better call Saul and Breaking Bad is asking us to root for evil. Hollywood wants us to identify with evil. We see through the game.

  21. One thing I noticed during the teaser: when it's focusing on the bottle stopper, if you look in the background you can see two very fancy chairs placed on the lawn and right next to each other, one slightly smaller and rounder than the other. Like the thrones of a king and his queen… Also, further away in the background is a pair of identical lounge chairs.

  22. I can't believe I totally missed the whole body double thing!! Until right now, I was trying to figure out what that whole sequence with Lalo at the couples house was all about. Now it's so obvious.

  23. Gus planned for Nacho to be captured/killed
After killing Lalo. Knowing nacho would
Stay quite to protect his father.

Nacho was the fall guy the entire time.

Bringing a sense of justice to the Salamancas, weakening them at the same time.

  24. Thanks for your analysis, I missed some details you pointed out, like the drip from the air con unit indicating someone in the shed. We don’t have air cons where I live, it’s too cold, so I’m grateful for you explaining the meaning of that single dripand the phone call after.

  25. I wonder what Kim's fate will be. She's obviously not with saul in breaking bad with how he acts in that show. She either breaks up with him or is dead during that period.
